An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Draftsperson on our Manufacturing Site in Runcorn. This is a full time permanent position reporting to the Engineering Manager where the successful candidate will have responsibility for ensuring all P&ID’s are updated following MoC’s or changes by Process Engineers. The successful candidate will also support the Maintenance Execution Team in drafting ISO’s for pipework replacement following pipe standards and supporting the Projects team with the development of P&ID’s/PFD’s for new projects.

The Runcorn Vynova Asset is currently undergoing a major investment programme, with the new plant currently undergoing commissioning. This is an excellent time to join our dynamic team as there will be substantial responsibility from day 1 as you will help drive the asset through this critical period.

What you'll do

  • Ensure Vault system is maintained and drawing procedures are followed for updates or new drawings
  • Maintaining the Vault drawing register system and be super user
  • Act as interface with EPC contractors and ensure drawings are of the appropriate standard and filed correctly in Vault for project work
  • Ensure P&ID/PFD updates are processed in a timely manner, reviewed and approved by appropriate persons and published in Vault for use
  • Work with Senior Project Engineer to develop PFD’s / P&ID’s for new projects
  • Work with Maintenance Execution Manager to develop pipe replacement ISO’s for fabrication and provide appropriate pipe specification
  • Support the Engineering team with any drawing requests or updates

Who you are

  • CAD
  • P&ID/PDF development and updates
  • Piping ISO’s development and updates
  • Basic mechanical design
  • Vault system drawing management
  • Competent in MS Office including O365, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Full clean driving licence
